The Iraq Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (IAMF) continues to foster the future of motorsport by providing young drivers with opportunities to develop their skills and compete at a national level. The Iraqi Junior Championship for Cars – Karting Category, held at the Supersat Circuit in Sulaimaniyah, brought together rising talents from across the country, highlighting IAMF’s dedication to grassroots racing and youth development.

As part of the FIA's 'Arrive and Drive' initiative, the Dansk Gokart Cup in Denmark, launched in 2024 and sanctioned by the Danish Automobile Sports Federation (DASU), is setting a benchmark for accessible and inclusive karting. Initiated by Akbar Ebrahim in December 2023, the ‘Arrive and Drive’ model aims to break down economic barriers and broaden participation. By making karting more affordable, it lays a strong foundation for both national and international competitions, promoting engagement at a grassroots level.

In December 2023, the FIA initiated a comprehensive karting reform project to enhance accessibility and inclusivity in motor sport. Led by Akbar Ebrahim, this initiative focuses on the ‘Arrive and Drive’ karting formula, which aims to eliminate economic barriers and expand participation in karting. This project seeks to broaden the base of the karting pyramid, enabling newcomers to progress to national and international competitions.

Embedded within the broader framework of the FIA Sport Club Development Strategy, which aims to empower and strengthen FIA Sport Clubs worldwide, the Angola’s Karting Development Programme is a testament to the dedication of the community to foster young talent and promote the sport at its grassroots level.
