FIA Middle East Baja Cup
FIA Middle East Baja Cup
The FIA Middle East Baja Cup heads into its fifth year and will be fought out over the same four rounds in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Qatar and Dubai. There will also be an official candidate event in Oman at the end of March.
The format provides competitors with a cost-effective opportunity to compete for an FIA title. All four rounds also count towards the FIA World Baja Cup but drivers are only permitted to register for one of the championships.
The Saudi Baja kick-starts the season on January 29th-31st. Jordan Motorsport will then host the Aqaba-based Jordan Baja on February 12th-14th.
The Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF) will organise the Lusail-based Qatar International Baja on October 28th-31st and the Emirates Motorsports Organisation will then run the finale in Dubai on the earlier date of November 5th-8th.
Titles are awarded to overall Drivers, Navigators and Teams, Ultimate Drivers and Navigators, Challenger, SSV and Stock Drivers and Navigators and Junior (under 26 on Jan 1) and Master (over 50 on Jan 1) Drivers.
