Each year, to help stimulate grassroots motor sport, the FIA Sport Funding Commission awards karting slalom kits to four National Sporting Authorities (ASNs) - one each from the MENA, Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia Pacific and Americas regions.

In its third year, the FIA ​​Karting Endurance Champion title was won by a factory team, that of the French manufacturer Sodikart, while the official CRG SpA team was once again on the podium.
