The calendar for the 2019/20 FIA World Endurance Championship has been approved today in Paris by the FIA World Motor Sport Council. The calendar will feature eight races of varying lengths starting at Silverstone in the UK on the 1st September and concluding at Le Mans in June 2020.

The first track session of the Japanese round of the 2018/19 FIA World Endurance Championship saw the no8 Toyota Gazoo Racing TS050-Hybrid set the fastest time of the 90 minute session. In a session that was interrupted by a red flag period to repair a broken kerb, Sebastien Buemi set a 1m25.847 lap of the Fuji Speedway track, with the Kamui Kobayashi in the no7 Toyota just 0.534 seconds behind.
