ABOUT

The Environmental Observer Programme ensures that FIA-sanctioned competitions consistently apply environmental guidelines, follow best practices and adhere to a unified FIA approach. 

Introduced in the International Sporting Code, this voluntary role monitors and reports on the environmental performance of competitions on-site, verifies management practices and shares actionable recommendations with event organisers and facility owners, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

TRAINING

To serve as an Environmental Observer, a candidate nominated by an ASN in the competition’s host country must complete the FIA University e-Learning training module and attend a live webinar in order to obtain certification.
