Funds are available through the FIA Road Safety Grants Programme in support of the 5th Global UN Road Safety Week, which will take place from 6-12 May 2019. FIA Member Clubs can apply for grants up to €200,000.

For the fifth UN Global Road Safety Week, the UN Road Safety Collaboration announced the theme of this year: “Leadership for Road Safety.”

To support this cause and achieve road safety targets, including reducing road traffic deaths and injuries by 50 per cent by 2020, and providing access to safe, affordable, accessible and sustainable transport systems for all by 2030, the FIA Road Safety Grants Programme has committed €200,000 in support of the 5th Global UN Road Safety Week, which will take place from 6-12 May 2019.

The goal of the week is to generate a demand from the FIA Members for stronger leadership for road safety worldwide.

The call for applications will be open from Tuesday 19 February, 8 am (Central European Time), to Tuesday 19 March, 12 pm (Central European Time).

More information about the requirements and material available will be communicated at the beginning of February via email, on the FIA Road Safety Grants Programme’s dedicated website:
