On the occasion of the Sustainable Mobility Week from 16-22 September, FIA Region IV and its clubs developed a digital campaign to raise awareness about transportation alternatives that may contribute to the environment and people's quality of life.

Addressed to 25-to-45-years-olds, the campaign developed 5 key sustainability messages that were posted on the FIA Region IV’s Linkedin, Instagram and Facebook platforms during the Sustainable Mobility Week.

The campaign focused on the following messages to promote urban sustainable mobility:

  1. Travelling daily by shared-mobility systems (car-sharing or car-pooling) generates less pollution

  1. Cycling can benefit your health and the environment

  1. Electric cars do not emit toxic emissions nor smoke in the environment

  1. Scooters are not just about fashion. They allow you to move freely without polluting.

  1. Choose public transport for your daily mobility. Less traffic, less pollution

All clubs from FIA Region IV shared the campaign’s messages on their communication networks, as posts were designed to adapt to their local brands.

“The aim of the campaign was to make people aware of transportation alternatives that could contribute to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Latin America”, explained Diego Cosentino, FIA Region IV Regional Manager.

“Also, we wanted to boost the technical knowledge of our Clubs together with an effective communication campaign”.
