Round 6 of the 2021 FIA European Historic Rally Championship will be held in Spain with the Rally de Asturias Historico being the host event (2-4 September). The event in Asturias was originally planned for May this season but, due to the Covid-19 restrictions, it was rescheduled for September to allow the event to go ahead. The rally in Asturias will be the first of two trips to the Iberian Peninsula, with the 69 th Rally Costa Brava based in Girona hosting the season finale in November.

The #101 Audi quattro A2 of Ville Silvasti and Risto Pietilainen won the 2021 Lahti Historic Rally, the Finns ending the day by 53.8 seconds ahead of the the #104 Audi of Kari Kivenne and Hannu Kemppinen.

The Rallye Weiz in Austria has attracted 24 entries, where 18 EHRC crews will compete for points in Round 4 of the FIA European Historic Rally Championship from 10 different nations across Europe. The event, which made its debut on the FIA EHRC calendar in 2019, is based in the Styrian city of Weiz and runs from Thursday 15 to Saturday 17 July.
