Safe Steps Amman is a national road safety initiative improving pedestrian safety through youth training, engineering capacity building, and a data-driven awareness campaign. The project reached 1.3 million people and generated 4.6 million impressions, with 656,000 engagements, promoting behaviour change and policy dialogue. Grounded in the Safe System approach, the initiative prioritises social responsibility, shared safety, and the protection of vulnerable road users, particularly children and students. It benefits families, schools, and communities while advancing safer, more inclusive mobility in Jordan.
