Recovery trucks are the business’s most emissions‑intensive vehicles, contributing over a third of total emissions. The HVO project focuses on testing, scaling, and deploying HVO‑fuelled recovery trucks to reduce this impact. It benefits customers, frontline teams, and the organisation by cutting carbon without impacting service, delivering savings of over 800 tonnes of emissions in the past 12 months.
