As in 2018, the FIA European Hill Climb Championship will comprise 12 competitions, spread out between April and September. There is just one significant difference in relation to the 2018 schedule: pursuant to the rule of alternating between the two Italian events, the European competitors will not go to Ascoli (Coppa Teodori) in 2019, but will have to face the kingmaker, which is the 17+ km Trento-Bondone event.

The FIA International Hill Climb Cup will play out once again over eight competitions. While the Verzegnis (ITA) and Sankt Aghata (AUT) events are no longer on the calendar,Vallemonica (ITA) is making a comeback and there is a new Czech competition, the Ustecka 21.

No major changes have been made to the Championship and Cup sporting regulations, except that cars in Groups N and A whose homologation has expired are now able to participate for an additional five-year period, instead of four.

It should be noted that the FIA Historic Hill Climb Championship will share the stage with five “modern” Championship events and three Cup events, and will include two events reserved exclusively for historic cars.
