Mercedes man ready for another FIA GT World Cup

Edoardo Mortara is out to defend his FIA GT World Cup title in Macau this weekend and the Mercedes factory driver is looking forward to the challenge.

Mortara’s first victory around the Guia Circuit came during his Formula 3 career, where he claimed the prestigious Macau GP title in both 2009 and 2010. He then triumphed in GT machinery consecutively between 2011-2013.

The Swiss racer claimed his first ever FIA GT World Cup with Mercedes last year, confirming his place as the unofficial ‘GT King of Macau’, so who better to talk to ahead of this year’s event?

We caught up with the 31-year-old as he talked exclusively to the FIA about his history in Macau and his love for the famous circuit…
