FIA University and FIA Region IV run first programme adapted for an FIA Region

The FIA University Latin American Leaders Program (LALP) gathers seven clubs from South America in Miami.

The FIA University creates a specific program, focused on the needs of FIA Region IV and its clubs.

As a joint effort from FIA Region IV, FIA University and ESADE Business School, seven clubs were brought together from Latin America, represented by 17 participants. They were General Managers working as a team to share their challenges for the future and looking for new ways to develop successful action plans for their clubs.

This FIA University Latin America Leaders Program (LALP) Module 1 is a first step to build new initiatives to sustain the continuous move forward of Latin American clubs, creating a platform for new ideas and a meeting point for them.

Participants were “struck” with news ways to look at their own reality and gained new tools to manage their clubs.

Each team went back home with an action plan that will certainly bring in positive results for its members and for the future sustainability of their clubs. Module 1 is meant to be followed by a Module 2, at each club level, where participants at the FIA University LALP Module 1 will be joined by other club managers in order to spread the acquired knowledge and skills, and thus strengthen the club.

The program results will be presented at the FIA Region IV Presidents meeting in Doha, so that Module 2 spreads in the Region and that other clubs join in an eventual next edition of Module 1.
