The Association of IOC Recognised International Sports Federations (ARISF) has officially joined the growing United Against Online Abuse (UAOA) coalition to combat online abuse in sport. The FIA’s United Against Online Abuse campaign, supported by the FIA Foundation, has been awarded the prestigious ‘Coalition for Peace’ award at the 2024 Peace and Sport Forum. FIA President and UAOA Founder, Mohammed Ben Sulayem, accepted the award in recognition of the campaign’s groundbreaking achievements. This major accolade marks the beginning of UAOA’s next phase of development and expansion.

At the 3rd World Sport Tourism Congress organised by UN Tourism (UNWTO) in Madrid, Spain, the FIA and its Member, the Automobile Club d’Italia, underlined the unique ability of motorsport to champion sustainable tourism and economic growth.

First launched in 2021, the website acts as a comprehensive global resource for drivers and travellers with disabilities. The relaunched version will also include updated information from ITF member countries, guide on vehicle adaptations, and advice on getting into motorsport.
