Solberg takes WorldRX driver's title as Ford Olsbergs MSE claim team trophy

Petter Solberg has ended his title-winning season in style by winning the closing round of the FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy in San Luis, Argentina.

Petter Solberg is currently leading the Total Rallycross of Argentina, the season-closer to this year’s FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy.

World RX teams’ title to be decided in Argentina

The FIA and World RX Championship promoter IMG Motorsports have jointly agreed on a draft calendar for next year’s FIA World Rallycross Championship which is subject of confirmation by the FIA World Motor Sport Council.

Norway’s Petter Solberg has won the opening round of the inaugural FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy after winning today’s World RX of Portugal final at the wheel of his PSRX Citroen DS3 Supercar. It was a double podium for Ford Olsbergs MSE in the Team Championship with team-mates Andreas Bakkerud and Reinis Nitiss finishing second and third respectively.
