Jordan Motorsports hosts TGR MENA Esports Cup: Watch the live event!


Supported by the FIA Sport Grant Programme, the 2022 Toyota GAZOO Racing MENA Esports Cup finals will take place in Amman, Jordan, on 7 and 8 October. Jordan Motorsports, delegated by the Royal Automobile Club of Jordan (RACJ) to exert control over motor sport in the country, will host the event.

Hosted by Jordan Motorsports, organised by Desert Fox Racing and sponsored by Toyota GAZOO Racing, Bank Etihad, Samsung, Zain and McDonalds, the event was first launched in 2021 and is considered a flagship Esports activity of the MENA region. Over 50,000 people have watched the event so far.

The championship brings together the top 2 racers from 13 different countries to compete together on ground-digitally for the title of “MENA Champion”.

The TGR MENA Cup finals kick off with the “Exhibition Race Day” on October 7th at 3:50 PM CET time. The race schedule consists of multiple different challenges such as a press race, a country challenge and a king of the hills challenge.

On the 2nd day, October 8th at 3:40 PM CET time, its starts with a semi-final, followed by a final, with the official MENA launch of the all new 2023 Toyota GR86 as a special break in between. 

The race event will be live streamed on YouTube with real-time multilingual commentary and custom graphics. Below you can find the official links to the scheduled live stream events:

FIA Member Clubs are invited to share the race events with their networks and communities.

FIA Esports Commission President Niroshan Pereira said: “I am pleased with the success of this one-of-a-kind event and I congratulate the MENA region for its initiative. Esports is a new entry level discipline enabling young drivers to experience motor sport without making any serious financial investment. Our goal is to encourage the future generation to participate in motor sport in an affordable and accessible way.”
