The FIA Historic Formula 3 European Cup will take place at Circuit Paul Ricard from April 7-9 as part of the KENNOL Grand Prix de France Historique next year.

The 2023 calendar for the FIA European Historic Rally Championship was approved by the FIA World Motor Sport Council in Bologna. The championship calendar will feature nine rounds, with Greece joining the championship with the Historic Acropolis Rally in November, adding a second gravel event to the schedule for the first time.

At the end of three days of competition in the Ostbelgien Classic, the winners of the 2022 FIA Trophy for Historic Regularity Rallies are Patrick Lambert from Luxembourg and Yves Noelanders from Belgium.

As snow and cold temperatures gripped the east of Belgium, Jean-Jacques Martens and Aswin Pyck in the no3 Volvo PV444 ended the second day of the Ostbelgien Classic as the leading contender for the 2022 FIA Trophy for Historic Regularity Rallies after a full day of competition. The Belgian crew finished the day on 264.10 penalty points, 17.87 points ahead of the no7 BMW 2002 Ti of Patrick Lambert and Yves Noelanders.

The first leg of the Ostbelgien Classic saw the no8 Porsche 911 of Belgian crew Yves Deflandre and Jennifer Hugo out in front with 16.35 penalty points, 7.45 penalty points ahead of the second placed FIA Trophy for Historic Regularity Rallies contender Jean-Jacques Martens and Aswin Pyck in the no3 Volvo PV444.

The final entry for the Ostbelgien Classic, the host event for the 2022 FIA Trophy for Historic Regularity Rallies on the 02-04 December, will feature 50 cars, of which 15 will be competing to become this year’s FIA Trophy winners.

The final of the 2022 FIA Trophy for Historic Regularity Rallies will be hosted by the Ostbelgien Classic on the 02-04 December 2022. The rally is based in the city of Eupen, which is the capital of the German speaking community of Belgium, less than 10km from the border with Germany and close to the Netherlands and Luxembourg in the east of the country.

Ville Silvasti and Risto Pietilainen finished the second and final leg of the 37 th Sanremo Historic Rally as the winning FIA EHRC crew, which was enough to secure the 2022 FIA European Historic Rally Category 4 Driver’s Championship for Silvasti. Thanks to finishing in second place in Italy alongside Mats Myrsell, Sweden’s Esko Junttila becomes to 2022 Category 4 Co-Driver’s Champion.

Ville Silvasti and Risto Pietilainen were the leading FIA EHRC contenders on the first day of the 37 th Sanremo Historic Rally, the 9 th and final round of the 2022 season.
