EHSRC - Ceremonial Start to the 11th Rally de Asturias Historico
Yesterday evening the teams and drivers competing in Round 3 of the FIA European Historic Sporting Rally Championship in Spain took the ceremonial start in the Plaza Conde Guadalhorce in the centre of the historic town of Pravia.
A large crowd had gathered to see the competitors as the drivers brought their cars to the start ramp for a quick interview, before being waved off by the Spanish and Asturian flags. The first of the car entered in the EHSRC to take the start was the no22 Volkswagen 1303S of James Calvert and James O’Brien.
The first leg of the Rally de Asturias Historico will take place today, Friday 24 May, with four special stages, starting at 15h41 with SS1 at Cudillero.
