ASNs agree to explore possibility of regional karting and single-seater series
Delegates from Asia-Pacific Region ASNs today pledged to increase club synergies in order to develop motor sport across the region, particularly at grassroots level. Delegates agreed that there is much common ground among ASNs in the region and recognising the value of the FIA’s ASN Development Task Force manual they determined to follow its guidelines in growing clubs and membership.
The meeting, chaired by Morrie Chandler of Motor Sport New Zealand, also agreed that in order to further explore the commonalities existing between ASNs in the region clubs will examine the possibility of setting up regional karting and single-seater
competitions.
