Supported by the FIA Road Safety Grant Programme, the Belarusian Auto Moto Touring Club (BKA) launched a child seat donation platform to ease the exchange of used car seats. The project was promoted by UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative in Belarus Joanna Kazana-Wisniowiecki.

On Friday 5 October, the BKA's team visited the UN office, where UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative in Belarus Joanna Kazana-Wisniowiecki donated the child restraint system that previously belonged to her son, to a family with many children.

Ms. Kazana-Wisniowiecki also took part in a photo session and video shooting during which she shared her personal experience on the use of child restraint systems and urged people to donate their used car seats, following her example.

At the end of the meeting a 3-year-old girl from the large family who was gifted the child seat, presented a drawing with a thank you word to Ms. Kazana-Wisniowiecki.
