World Cup for Cross Country Bajas
The FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Bajas welcomes newcomer, Sharqia Baja hosted in Saudi Arabia, as a ninth round on the 2021 calendar. The series is once again focused on events across Europe and the Middle East, and kicks off with the world’s only snow and ice Baja ahead of three events in Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Jordan, which run consecutively to harmonise logistics for competitors. After the fourth round, the series heads to Europe for the final five events.
Each Baja has a total distance for selective sections of at least 350 kilometres and for all titles – Drivers, Co-drivers, Teams, T3 and T4 Drivers and T4 Teams - the maximum number of best results retained in the final classifications of the scheduled nine-round series is seven, which reduces should fewer events be run.
