The FIA Formula 2 Championship is the second tier of the single-seater pyramid, which has been designed to create a clear path for drivers from karting to Formula 4, Formula Regional, FIA Formula 3, FIA Formula 2 and finally the FIA Formula One World Championship. All rounds of the season are in support of a Formula 1 Grand Prix and such close proximity to the F1 environment is an important part of the learning process for young drivers. With a car that benefits from up to date technology consistent with the latest performance and safety advancements made in Formula 1, the championship is a potent combination of talented young drivers and a hugely competitive and educational environment.
