Hyundai's Thierry Neuville scored a dramatic last-stage World Rally Championship win on the Tour de Corse with his Hyundai i20, as a puncture on the Power Stage extinguished Elfyn Evans's hopes for victory and dropped the M-Sport Sport driver to third place. Citroën's Sébastien Ogier also gained a place with Evans’s misfortune, securing second.

Italy's Fabio Andolfi and Simone Scattolin snatched the top spot on the podium in the FIA WRC 2 category ; Lukasz Pieniazek and Kamil Heller are the winners of the FIA WRC 2 Pro class with their Ford Fiesta R5 car after the retirement of their rivals Kalle Rvanperä and Jonne Halttunen.
