WRC 3 – ICA decision – Hearing 09 11 21 – Yohan Rossel
The following hearing of the International Court of Appeal took place on 9 November 2021 in Paris:

Case ICA-2021-03: Appeal lodged by Mr Yohan Rossel against Decision No. 3 dated 12 September 2021 of the Stewards of the EKO Acropolis Rally counting towards the 2021 FIA World Rally Championship (WRC3)
On 12 September 2021, the Stewards received a report from the FIA Deputy Technical Delegate stating that in the post-event scrutineering the car of Mr Yohan Rossel was found to be not in conformity with Article 10.3.3 of the FIA 2021 International Sporting Code as the weight of its front subframe was above the authorized maximum weight. The Stewards therefore decided to disqualify Mr Yohan Rossel from the 2021 EKO Acropolis Rally (WRC3).
On 16 September 2021, Mr Yohan Rossel decided to appeal this decision.
Decision of the International Court of Appeal
The Court, after having heard the parties and examined their submissions, decided to:
- Declare the appeal admissible;
- Reject the appeal;
- Uphold Decision No. 3 dated 12 September 2021 of the Stewards of the EKO Acropolis Rally counting towards the 2021 FIA World Rally Championship (WRC3);
- Order the competent Sporting Authority to draw, as appropriate, the consequences of this ruling.
The International Court of Appeal was presided over by Mr Thierry JULLIARD (Switzerland), and included Mr Luigi FUMAGALLI (Italy), Mr Anthony SCOTT ANDREWS (United Kingdom) and Mr Felippe ZERAIK (Brazil).
