WRC - 2015 Rally Guanajuato Mexico Preview

03.03.15
The FIA World Rally Championship contenders head to the Americas for Rally Guanajuato Mexico.
2015 WRC Rally Mexico

The third round of the FIA World Rally Championship takes the contenders to the Americas for Rally Guanajuato Mexico, the first gravel event of the season. After two specialised winter events, dusty loose-surface stages provide yet another challenge, but Rally Guanajuato Mexico also has its own uniqueness; its high altitude. Run in the mountains surrounding León, Guanajuato and Silao, engineers are faced with overcoming the effect the oxygen-sapping heights have on engine power at up to 2,800 metres above sea level.

In addition to the 15-strong field of World Rally Cars, Rally Guanajuato Mexico has also attracted a host of entrants in the FIA WRC 2 Championship and no fewer than 11 drivers have nominated this event as a point-scoring round.

Three stages will be broadcast live on the national and international feed; stages 1, 13 and 21.
