Pascal Wehrlein made his debut as a full-time Formula One driver with Manor Mercedes at the current Barcelona test. Pascal reached the pinnacle via the DTM series, in which he became the youngest ever champion. However he cites his 2012 season in Formula 3, when he finished fourth in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship, as a pivotal season in his development. The young German paused for a few words between sessions in Barcelona to discuss his time in F3: here’s what he told us.
