This morning at Spa-Francorchamps the drivers and teams racing in the FIA World Endurance Championships attended a special presentation of ‘Race True’, the FIA’s anti doping programme.

The programme was presented by Sandra Silveira-Camargo, the FIA Head of Medical Affairs, and supported by the FIA Medical Affairs Co-ordinator Magali Louis.

The FIA Race True E-Learning course and quiz are available for drivers and teams.  The FIA believes that doping tests are necessary.  However, it also believes that anti-doping education is even more important because it helps to raise the awareness of the drivers in order to avoid putting their careers at risk.

The drivers were made aware of the contents of the e-learning course, which includes all the key points of which a driver must be aware.  The course takes around 30 minutes and is available in English, French, Spanish, German, Russian, Portuguese and Arabic.

The drivers left the presentation with all the information and the two FIA representatives from Medical Affairs would be spending the weekend at Spa visiting the teams and drivers in terms to answer any questions that they have on a one-to-one basis.
