Toyota celebrate as red flag ends Silverstone thriller
20.04.14
Toyota Racing was a deserving winner of the 6 Hours of Silverstone this afternoon, although the race ended 25 minutes short of the full race distance due to heavy rain.

Nicolas Lapierre, Sebastien Buemi and Anthony Davidson won the race in the No.8 TS040 Hybrid ahead of their team mates in the No.7 entry.
After a race-long battle G-Drive Racing won in LMP2 after a race-long battle, while Porsche Team Manthey started its 2014 FIA WEC season in fine style with the No.92 911 RSR winning LMGTE Pro – Marco Holzer, Frederic Makowiecki and Richard Lietz at the wheel.
Aston Martin Racing’s No.95 Vantage V8 of Nicki Thiim, David Heinemeier Hansson and Kristian Poulsen won in LMGTE Am.
A full report will follow soon.
