This morning, the 2.300 kilometres long Norisring welcomed the drivers of the FIA Formula 3 European Championship with rain, but that didn’t trouble Charles Leclerc (Van Amersfoort Racing). In difficult conditions, the Monegasque rookie won from stalwarts Antonio Giovinazzi (Jagonya Ayam with Carlin) and Felix Rosenqvist (Prema Powerteam). With his fourth victory of the season, Leclerc extended his lead in the drivers’ standings. He is now 39.5 points clear of Felix Rosenqvist, who moved up into second place.

FIA European Rally Championship leader Craig Breen tops the leaderboard of the Kenotek by CID LINES Ypres Rally after a brilliant performance on leg one today. Co-driven by Scott Martin, Breen was delighted to be able to drive with full commitment and confidence on fast Tarmac stages, reaching the overnight halt with a slender 4.6 second lead in his Peugeot Rally Academy 208 T16.
