On the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, high-profile personalities, mobility-impaired competitors, volunteers and officials from the motor sport family came together to promote the rights and well-being of people with disabilities in all spheres of society, sharing positive messages on social media to empower people with mobility impairment. For this special day, the FIA Disability and Accessibility Commission is also proud to be launching three #PurposeDriven initiatives to further promote and support those with disabilities in the world of motor sport and mobility.

Second FIA Girls on Track - Rising Stars Training Camp contained very intense driving programme. For some drivers, it was their first taste of single-seaters and Formula 4 race cars, and the pressure was on to adapt to this entry-level motor sport category and show speed and on-going progression. At the end of the second FIA Girls on Track - Rising Stars Training Camp, four drivers have secured places for the final training course at the Ferrari Driver Academy in Maranello, Italy. The FIA Girls on Track – Rising Stars programme, an initiative set up by the FIA Women in Motorsport Commission, is now in its decisive stage and the Ferrari Driver Academy (FDA) will be playing its part. The aim is to promote women in motorsport and support talented girls between the ages of 12 and 16 as they seek to embark on a career as a professional racing driver.
