A pioneering initiative decentralising motorsport across the Maldives. By hosting regional drag and off-road championships beyond Malé, RAM broke geographic and social barriers, revitalised post-COVID participation, and tripled its athlete base from 70 to 300. Local councils, schools, and defence forces partnered to transform races into community festivals, generating new income for local businesses. RAM’s programme serves as a model of inclusion and sustainability in small-island contexts.
