Lluís Puerto has been appointed as the new Director of the RACC Foundation, to replace Miquel Nadal, who is beginning a new professional stage.

As the Director of the RACC Foundation, he will lead all technical research and public policy activity on vehicles, roads and end users in the fields of traffic safety, intelligent transport systems and mobility. He is member of the Board of Directors of the European Road Assessment Programme (EuroRAP), member of the Supervisory Board of ERTICO and of the FIA Euroboard’s Coordination group. He has a MSc degree in Industrial Engineering by the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, and Executive MBA at EADA Business School.

The Club is confident that this change in the leadership of the RACC Foundation will be a new boost in the transformation from being an Automobile Club to a Mobility Club. With the intention to extend the contribution of RACC to all of society and its members, the Foundation will also expand its fields of action to promote, in all transport systems, a sustainable, intelligent, agile, connected and safe mobility. Additionally, to strengthen relations with the FIA and all the Club members, RACC has appointed Roger Puigví as responsible for International Relations in coordination with David Gabarró, our Club Correspondent, and Miquel Roca, responsible for Mobility as a Service. RACC focuses on talent and generational change to successfully face the future.
