Team Phillipines have lifted the champion’s trophy at the end of the 2025 Asia Pacific Motorsport Championship which has delivered an unforgettable weekend in Sri Lanka featuring over 200 competitors, each representing their nation, who battled it out for medal honours across 6 dynamic motor sport categories.

The championship, hosted by the Ceylon Motor Sports Club (CMSC) at the SpeedBay Circuit in Bandaragama, put the FIA’s values of inclusivity, accessibility and affordability at the heart of the event and demonstrated the power of regional events to inspire and drive motor sport participation.

The second edition of the APMC will be remembered for its close competition but also for the legacy it leaves behind, providing a blueprint for regional motor sport development across the world. The unveiling of a locally built FIA Affordable Cross Car and inclusion of 3 karting categories, Esports and the use of everyday vehicles like the Hyundai Grand i10 in Auto Gymkhana also proved that high-level motor sport doesn’t have to come with a high price tag.

FIA Secretary General for Sport, Valerio Iachizzi, said:

APMC has brought together the entire region in an incredible display of the power of motor sport to unite and inspire. I’d like to thank CMSC for their incredible organisation which has set a new standard for regional motor sport events across the world
