Nathalie McGloin nominated in The Sunday Times Sportswomen of the Year Awards 2020

We’re delighted that FIA Disability and Accessibility Commission President, racing driver, and co-founder of charity Spinal Track, Nathalie McGloin, has been nominated in The Sunday Times Sportswomen of the Year Awards 2020. Nathalie is shortlisted in the Disability Sportswoman of the Year category, which recognises outstanding performers in disability sport.

The Sportswomen of the Year Awards are presented in association with Vitality, and are counted among the most prestigious and influential accolades in the British sporting calendar. Now in their 33rd year, these awards celebrate the exceptional contribution to sport made by elite athletes, coaches, administrators, community volunteers and inspirational figures.

Judges:

The Disability Sportswoman of the Year accolade is awarded by a panel of expert judges with scores of Olympic medals and sporting records held between them. Judges include Olympic heptathlon gold medal champion and two-time winner of The Sunday Times Sportswoman of the Year Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill DBE, British Olympic swimmer and gold medal winner Rebecca Adlington OBE, double-Olympic champion Dame Kelly Holmes, and Tanni Grey-Thompson DBE, one of Britain’s greatest ever paralympic athletes and wheelchair racers, who has won 11 Olympic gold medals and four gold world championship medals.
