The National Automobile Club of Tunisia (NACT) took part in the 25th Arab Radio and TV Festival, held in Hammamet in partnership with the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU). The event brought together over 100 broadcasters and 700 professionals from the region’s media, tourism, and cultural sectors.

As part of the official programme, NACT organised a visit for VIP guests to Studio Empire in Latrech-Bir Bouragba—a historic media complex revived in 2002 by producer Tarak Ben Ammar. This initiative was one of the key outcomes of the Arab Media Conference, which aims to support national efforts in reducing carbon emissions and protecting the climate.

The visit also promoted Tunisia’s cultural assets and positioned Yasmine Hammamet as a strategic tourism destination, located near Enfidha International Airport. Guests explored the studio and enjoyed a curated display of classic vehicles throughout public spaces and hotel grounds. Tunisian Minister of Tourism, Soufiane Tekaya, viewed the exhibition, recognising it as part of Tunisia’s national heritage.

NACT also hosted a FIA-branded pavilion at the festival’s technology exhibition, presenting key FIA initiatives in mobility and sport. Coordinated by NACT President Karim Azzouz, with the support of the entire NACT team, it highlighted recent updates from the FIA Spring Conference in Marrakech and the FIA Conference in Macau. Visitors included delegates from leading broadcasters such as CCTV, France Télévisions, and the Saudi Broadcasting Authority.

The festival welcomed several high-level guests, including Amb. Ahmed Rashid  Khattabi, Deputy Secretary General at the Arab League, Media & Communication Sector; Ahmed Assaf, General Supervisor of the Official Palestinian Media; Eng. Alhamedi Al-Anezi, President and CEO of Arabsat; Asma Al-Habashi, President of the Arab Media Women Union; Dr. Ibrahim Abu Zekry, President of the General Union of Arab Producers; Abderrahim Suleiman, Director‑General of the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU).

The event also featured prominent Tunisian figures such as actor Noureddine Ben Ayed, Miss World Imen Mehrzi, academic Chiraz Jaziri, athletes Nour Ben Diha and Amal Abdeli, international boxing referee Sarah Bouhlel, and Bassam Belhadj of the Garde Nationale Sports Club—highlighting Tunisia’s cultural and sporting vibrancy.
