Mongolia Joins FIA Motorsport Accelerator to Drive National Growth

The Mongolian Automobile Motorcycle Sports Federation (MAMSF) has joined the FIA Motorsport Accelerator Programme (MAP), marking a new chapter in the strategic development of motor sport in Mongolia. Supported by the FIA Secretary General for Sport’s Development Department, the programme assists national sporting authorities (ASN’s) in building sustainable motor sport ecosystems.

MAMSF, recognised by the Mongolian National Olympic Commmittee and supported by the Mongolian Sports Committee, is currently forming a new strategy and a 5-year development plan which will be presented to both authorities shortly.

MAMSF’s vision is to make motor sport a national sport, rooted in Mongolia’s spirit of endurance and freedom. The plan focuses on youth engagement through off-road disciplines, FIA University training, Esports, karting and the introduction of FIA affordable cross cars. With 70% of the population under 30, MAMSF aims to unlock new talent and build a competitive platform for regional and international participation.

As part of this effort, Mongolia will send its first Esports team to the 2025 Asia Pacific Motorsports Championship and is working to establish a flagship event to showcase Mongolian motor sport to the world.
