On 9 May, HAK opened its first public charging station for electric vehicles in Zagreb, positioned next to its headquarters, and acquired its first electric vehicle, that will be used for deliveries.

The public charging station allows owners of electric cars and plug-in hybrids to charge their vehicles at no cost.

The aim is to accelerate the arrival of electric mobility in Croatia.

HAK President, Mr. Slavko Tušek commented “HAK continuously invests into new technologies and education. Electric vehicles are increasing on Croatian streets, used daily by visitors and domestic drivers. Price difference for purchasing conventional or electric cars is still an issue for Croatian drivers, but in the future, the difference will diminish.

HAK is thus getting ready for the future, fostering the arrival of the technological progress”.
