Goodyear becomes FIA ETRC title partner

Global tyre company Goodyear joins the FIA European Truck Racing Championship as the series’ title partner, to become the newly named Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship

Goodyear has been an official partner of the FIA ETRC since 2016, supplying the championship with its specially developed truck racing tyres, and has since helped to drive forward new technologies and developments, not only in the highly competitive world of the FIA ETRC, but also for daily transport fleet operations in the road haulage industry. 

Goodyear’s commitment to the ETRC was recently extended through its exclusive partnership as the series’ official tyre supplier.

The three-year partnership will see Goodyear work closely with the European Truck Racing Association (ETRA) to introduce new and sustainable technologies, harnessing the tyre companies’ premium fuel efficiency and low emission on-road product range development insights.

The Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship represents the pinnacle of global truck racing. The championship provides a platform for the transportation industry to demonstrate the performance and durability of vehicles and components as well as showcasing sustainable developments and new technologies. 

With eight rounds making up the 2022 calendar, the championship will visit many of Europe’s top circuits proving Goodyear’s tyre technology not only on track, but also within daily transport fleet operations.
