SRO Motorsports Group presents a full package of racing during their 2014 race weekends.

After announcing the extension of the Blancpain partnership by bringing the Sprint series under the Blancpain banner, SRO Motorsports Group presents a full package of racing during their 2014 race weekends. Some of the most exciting and prestigious series and championships figure among the support races to the Blancpain Endurance Series and the Blancpain Sprint Series.

The Blancpain GT Series race weekends are more than just the Blancpain Endurance and Sprint races. Thanks to their excellent reputation, they attract numerous exclusive and exciting support series, guaranteeing action-packed race weekends for the fans.

One of the most loyal support races of the Blancpain Endurance Series is the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo. The Italian supercars will again be part of all Endurance events, starting at Monza on April 11th-13th.

The Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup will join the Endurance events as well, with the exception of Paul Ricard. The season opener in Monza will see even more single seater action, since the Formula Renault 3.5 joins the line-up.

Later in the year, the Cooper Tires British F3 International Series, also promoted by SRO Motorsports Group, will be part of the Blancpain Endurance Series on two occasions, as will the GT4 European Series.

The event promoters of the Blancpain Sprint Series will deliver some strong support races and action-packed race weekends as well. The French Clio Cup joins the season opener in Nogaro, and the BRDC Formula 4 will race in Brands Hatch. As in 2013, the Lotus Ladies Cup will be in Slovakia, while the Zandvoort event will again be alongside the prestigious Masters of Formula 3. These are just a few of the top-level championships that figure among the support races in 2014.

The action is not only limited to the Blancpain GT Series race weekends. During two test sessions (11th-12th March at Paul Ricard and 2nd July in Spa) most of the teams will be present to fine-tune the set-up of their cars. Both test sessions will be open to the public.

Stéphane Ratel (Founder and CEO of SRO Motorsports Group): “At SRO, we are proud to present such a level of support races during our Blancpain GT Series weekends. It proves that our Series are really considered as a reference, a confirmation of the growing success of our events. I would like to thank the series promoters for their continued trust and confidence in our organisation.

Ralph Weishaupt (Formula Renault 2.0 NEC organiser): “This will be the ninth season of the Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup. The championship has established itself as an important European junior series. Many of our former participants have risen to the highest motorsport levels worldwide. This year, we looked for an organiser who can provide us with the perfect setting for the NEC. We have found this organisation in the Blancpain Endurance Series: professional events with an international level on the best circuits in Europe. We are certainly looking forward to an exciting season in the Blancpain GT Series!
