Formula E - Valencia pre-season testing dates confirmed

Testing open to the public for the first time at Circuit Ricardo Tormo

Dates for the 2018/19 ABB FIA Formula E Championship pre-season testing have been confirmed from 16-19 October at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo, Valencia. For the first time there will be public access to the test on two days, Tuesday 16 and Friday 19.

The test marks the first time all 11 Formula E teams and 22 drivers will take to the track together, ahead of the first round of Season 5 in Ad Diryiah, Saudi Arabia on December 15, 2018. With the arrival of the new Gen2 cars marking a new era of the series, the Valencia test days will be a crucial part of the teams’ development ahead of what is sure to be another hugely competitive season.

Each day of testing will be split into two sessions, with cars running between 09:00-12:00 in the morning session and 14:00-17:00 in the afternoon.

There will be no action on track on 18 October.
