The FIA, the global governing body for motor sport and the federation for mobility organisations worldwide, has announced that the 2027 FIA World Endurance Championship calendar has been approved by e-vote of the World Motor Sport Council. The calendar was unveiled at the traditional pre-24 Hours of Le Mans press conference held this morning, together with confirmation of future technical direction of the Hypercar class, with new regulations set to come into force from 2030 onwards.

Pirelli will remain the single tyre supplier for the FIA Formula One World Championship until 2028. The FIA (Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile) has exercised its option to extend the current contract with the Italian company, prolonging, by mutual agreement with FOM and Pirelli, the Global Tyre Partner of Formula 1 and its associated championships by one year.
