FIA confirms Ford will return to the FIA World Rally Championship (FIA WRC) with a Full Factory Programme from 2028. Ford becomes the fourth constructor to commit to developing a car under the FIA’s new WRC27 technical regulations. The brand will work with long-standing partner M-Sport on an all-new WRC car built to the championship’s new WRC27 technical regulations, due to make its competitive debut in 2029. Ford’s expanding motor sport programme will give the manufacturer a presence across four FIA World Championships from 2028.
