The 2025/26 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship got underway with the Official Pre-Season Test at Valencia’s Circuit Ricardo Tormo this week. All 20 drivers from 10 teams ran on track together ahead of the season-opener of the 2025/26 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship in São Paulo on 6 December. Formula E and the FIA also hosted the second-ever All-Women’s Test in Valencia, giving 14 women drivers access to GEN3 Evo machinery for a full day of testing - totalling six hours of track time - double the track time compared to last year.

The FIA confirms that its Cost Cap Administration (CCA) has now completed its review of the Reporting Documentation in respect of the Reporting Period that ended on 31 December 2024, submitted by each F1 Team that participated in the 2024 FIA Formula One World Championship and by each Power Unit (PU) Manufacturer registered to supply the new generation of PU that will be introduced from 2026.

The ABB FIA Formula E World Championship returns to Valencia for the first time since 2023 for eight testing sessions across five consecutive days. Following a successful debut at the Season 11 Pre-Season Test, the FIA and Formula E host a second Women’s Test on Friday 31 October, with women drivers from all ten teams taking part in two sessions for the first time, spanning a whole day of track action.
