The 2020 FIA World Rally Championship resumes this week in Tartu, Estonia, owing to the joint efforts of the FIA, WRC Promoter, the local organiser and health authorities.

Based on feedback from the opening events of the FIA Formula One World Championship, and taking account of the evolving situation surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the World Motor Sport Council (WMSC) of the FIA, the governing body of world motor sport, has approved today an extended scope of the Appendix S of the International Sporting Code.

Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 editions of the FIA European Historic Sporting Rally Championship, FIA Masters Historic Formula One and Sports Car Championships, as well as FIA Historic Formula 3 European Cup, have been cancelled.

The 2020 FIA World Rallycross Championship season starts this weekend at Höljes Motorstadion, Sweden, owing to the joint efforts of the FIA, the series promoter IMG, the local organiser and health authorities.
