The first ever United Against Online Abuse Conference has taken place, bringing together international sporting federations, politicians, and tech companies FIA President, Mohammed Ben Sulayem, said: “I thank all who have pledged their support for this coalition and urge the wider global community to come together and join us in this important fight.”

The conference, hosted at the FIA’s Paris headquarters, will bring together international sporting federations, social media platforms, and politicians Speakers include FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem, UNESCO’s Assistant Director-General Gabriela Ramos, and FIFA’s Paul Murphy

More than 100 delegates attended the three-day event.

The event took place in Porto, ahead of the WRC Vodafone Rallye de Portugal. The packed agenda saw WRC share a raft of new announcements – including the launch of the Championships’ Sustainability Roadbook, a new programme to encourage female participation in rally, and the launch of a new partnership with the ESA. Featured speakers included the European Space Agency’s Guillaume Prigent and rally legends Michèle Mouton, Pernilla Solberg, and Burcu Çetinkaya. It was held in partnership with WRC Beyond Rally and ACP.

The meeting took place on the 29th-30th April.

Former championship runner-up extends outstanding Monte-Carlo record to kick-start Season 10 title challenge.

Jaguar TCS Racing have confirmed a long-term commitment to the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship by signing to participate in the GEN4 era, set to commence in 2026 and running through seasons 13-16. The announcement comes on the eve of the Monaco E-Prix, and just over a month after the Tokyo E-Prix, where Nissan was the first manufacturer to commit to the GEN4 era of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.

The exchange is designed to encourage knowledge-sharing and the development of expertise around data and analytics for loyalty programmes.

The event will take place on 9th May 2024 at Exponor - Porto International Fair It is co-hosted by WRC Promoter, FIA and Automóvel Club de Portugal Panels and discussions will touch on biodiversity, social impact and innovation.
