The FIA World Rally Championship will return to the United States and United Kingdom in 2027, marking a major expansion of the calendar as the championship enters a new era. Rally d'Italia will be held in Rome in 2027, bringing an exciting new tarmac round to the streets and roads around the Italian capital. New calendar strengthens the championship in both new markets and traditional rallying heartlands. Expansion comes as the WRC enters its new technical era, with new promoter leadership and growing manufacturer commitment.

Rally Saudi Arabia will not form part of the 2026 FIA World Rally Championship due to ongoing regional developments affecting logistical arrangements. Rally Saudi Arabia will proceed as scheduled from 11-14 November as part of the FIA Middle East Rally Championship. The revised 2026 FIA World Rally Championship calendar will comprise 13 rounds contested across four continents.

Oliver Solberg / Elliott Edmondson scored their second win of the 2026 FIA World Rally Championship, leading Rally Chile BIOBÍO for all-but one stage on their way to victory ahead of Toyota GAZOO Racing team-mates Sébastien Ogier / Vincent Landais.
