To date, approximately 3,400 helmets have been recycled in the country, helping prevent an estimated 5.1 to 13.6 tonnes of CO₂ from entering the atmosphere. The fifth edition of the programme was launched with the delivery of 150 certified helmets in collaboration with the Road Safety Council and the Municipality of San José.
