Freddie Slater will start the FIA FR World Cup from pole position following his triumph in the Qualification Race for the 72nd Macau Grand Prix.

Antonio Fuoco converted his first-place start into the FIA GT World Cup Qualification Race win to secure the Pirelli Pole Position Award, which guarantees the Italian line up at the front for the Main Race on Sunday.

A sensational round-the-outside pass through the high-speed Mandarin kink proved the difference as Emanuele Olivieiri won the Qualification Race to clinch pole position for Sunday’s inaugural FIA F4 World Cup.

The 19 drivers contesting the inaugural FIA F4 World Cup assembled on the Circuito da Guia starting grid to highlight this key addition to the Macau Grand Prix schedule.

The fourth and final meeting of the Formula 1 Commission in 2025 took place today, November 14 at the offices of the FIA in London. The meeting was chaired by FIA Single-Seater Director Nikolas Tombazis and FOM President and CEO Stefano Domenicali.
