From 21-24 October, the FIA Region I and ARC Europe organised the 2025 Road Patrol Training for Excellence, kindly hosted by FIA Member Club the Touring Club Switzerland (TCS) in Cossonay (Lausanne).

With the goal of strengthening the teams of FIA Clubs and expanding drivers’ knowledge, a specialised training session on heavy vehicles was held in Argentina. The activity, conducted at the Rogelio Cavalieri Iribarne Professional Training Center (Escobar, Argentina), was part of a strategic alliance between FIA Region IV (South and Central America), the Professional Transport Foundation (FPT) and FADEEAC. The programme aimed to prepare instructors in freight transport under two main pillars: road safety and sustainability.

The 2025/26 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship got underway with the Official Pre-Season Test at Valencia’s Circuit Ricardo Tormo this week. All 20 drivers from 10 teams ran on track together ahead of the season-opener of the 2025/26 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship in São Paulo on 6 December. Formula E and the FIA also hosted the second-ever All-Women’s Test in Valencia, giving 14 women drivers access to GEN3 Evo machinery for a full day of testing - totalling six hours of track time - double the track time compared to last year.
