The final day of the Lahti Historic Rally, saw Kari Kivenne and Asko Sairanen pull further ahead of championship leaders Ville Silvasti and Risto Pietilainen. The no4 Audi quattro finished the 12 th and final stage of the rally 1m04s ahead of the no1 Audi to take maximum championship points in Category 4. Silvasti and Pietilainen also extend their championship lead with just three events remaining.

Following a worldwide detection phase, the FIA has selected 14 talented young female drivers aged between 12 and 16 to attend the third edition of the FIA Girls on Track – Rising Stars Programme.
